NEW PATENTED SNC° CONSTRUCTION: SNC
"Structural Net Composite" is Arai's newest and most
advanced shell construction. It incorporates a structural
net reinforcing material embedded between Arai's exclusive
Super Complex Laminate Construction layers. The
specially-developed strands bond the layers more rigidly to
further improve shell integrity and impact-force management.
SNC also allows for more weight to be removed from the top
of the shell, reducing overall helmet weight by almost three
ounces (RX-7 Corsair vs. previous RX-7 models) while it
lowers the center of gravity, resulting in better balance
and reduced fatigue for more comfort.
Arai's revolutionary Super-AdSis° tool-less shield-changing
mechanism lets you change shields in seconds without even
removing the side pods. Now it's been updated with Arai's
LRS Shield Release System. LRS upgrades Super AdSis° to make
faceshield removal even easier. (Can be retro-fit to all
Super AdSis°-equipped models.)
This simple De-Mist Lock faceshield tab pushes forward to
open the shield slightly to help clear fogging if needed.
Arai's unique BrowVent Faceshield Ventilation System gives
you more cooling air in the upper face area with no holes in
the critical forehead area of the shell or in the
impact-absorbing liner material.
Arai's Optically-Correct Pre-Formed Faceshields give better
vision and UV ray protection, with less distortion.
Available in Clear, Light Tint, Dark Tint - and High
Definition Yellow and new Iridium in some models.
All Arai helmets give you the exceptional benefits of
Multiple-Foam Interiors for comfort no single-foam liner can
match. And every Arai interior is still fit individually by
hand.
The Removable Breathguard further helps to reduce fogging by
deflecting breath away from the faceshield area.
Arai's plush Washable Interior fabric is easily cleaned to
provide a fresh helmet whenever you desire. All Arai
interiors are washable.
Our fully Removable Interior adds yet another level of
flexibility and washability.
Yet another evolutionary Arai advancement, the Top-Mounted
Racing Diffuser is unmatched in its effectiveness. However,
because it was specifically designed for the extreme demands
of racing, the ventilation performance may not be as
effective under normal street conditions. The Diffuser ports
can be adjusted to control ventilation.
FFS FreeFlow System - Combining a new cheekpad design,
re-designed neck roll, and extended pull-down chin spoiler,
Arai's FFS advancement further reduces wind noise while
increasing the exhaust of hot air from the facial area for
more comfort.
The unique Pull-Down Airflow Spoiler further helps minimize
wind noise.
Our Rear Exhaust Channel And Vent adds a racy look while
drawing more hot air out from the helmet interior.
Advanced Dry-Cool® liner material actually uses micro water
cells to improve moisture and heat transfer from the head
into the airflow, so your head is dryer and cooler at the
end of a long or hot ride. Also allows liner to dry much
faster between rides.
All Arai Helmets meet or exceed Snell and D.O.T. standards
(see inside back cover for Snell details). Note that the
Snell Standard does not cover the Rockguard two-piece
off-road helmets. In one-piece, full-face off-road models,
the Standard covers the Chinbar for deflection only.
