Big Gun Exhaust Systems, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company. Started in 1997 by 3-time 4-stroke AMA National Champion Mike Young Jr. Big Gun Exhaust Systems is in the business of building 4-stroke off-road motorcycle and ATV performance exhaust systems that meet and exceed all state off-road sound needs and requirements. Big Gun Exhaust Systems also produce top of the line performance motor enhancements such as a full racing engine shop and many other performance enhancing items.

Mike "Young Gun" Young
The driving force behind Big Gun Exhaust Systems. There is no one more experienced in hands-on, 4-stroke performance than Mike. He is Americas most accomplished 4-stroke rider. In 1992 Mike won Husqvarna its first 4-stroke MX title aboard a 610 Husqvarna. In 1996 he won both the AMA East Coast 4-stroke National Championship and the AMA East/West Championship shoot-out. In his six years of professional 4-stroke competition, Mike finished no less than first or second in every championship (National or World) he contested. In all, Mike has won three national 4-stroke championships, and one 4-stroke world title. He has been a 4-stroke factory rider for Honda, Husqvarna, ATK and Husaberg. He has competed for a full season in the 500cc World Grand Prix Championships for Factory Vertemati.

Being the first American in History to win a moto and place in the top three on a four stroke motorcycle! He’s even raced Baja for the powerful Factory Honda Off-Road Team. Having worked with the top 4-stroke mechanics and competed on factory one-off ‘works’ equipment at the highest level of the sport, Mike knows what it takes to build superior exhaust systems. "THE NAME" During his term as a Factory Honda Rider, Mike totally dominated the National 4-stroke events aboard his Works XR628R appropriately nicknamed the "Big Gun"- the natural namesake for Big Gun Exhaust Systems.
