The new D2 Open-Face Helmet has the same quality construction and
revolutionary styling as the classic D2 (Daytona 2), but its
versatility makes it a perfect fit for many sports including skiing,
snowboarding and bicycling.
Astonishingly light in weight and incredibly strong, D2 Carbon
helmets consist of 60% carbon fiber, 20% aramid, and are then
reinforced with 20% fiberglass. Finally, the D2 Carbon helmet
features a new uni-weave carbon fiber outer surface. All D2 Carbon
helmets include titanium visor screws plus a high-end TLD SE Helmet
Bag.
The D2's flow-through ventilation system inicludes four intake and
exhaust ports that work in unison to maximize cool air transfer over
the rider's head. A fully interchangeable, washable, MX-style padded
liner as well as a buckle chinstrap system combine to create a
plush, custom fit. D2 helmets meet or exceed safety approval rating
requirements from CSPC, ASTM (BMX and downhill), and DE.

What started out as a motocross racing teenager named Troy Lee painting helmets in his parents garage for his buddies, has grown to become recognized as the premier custom helmet in the world, and is the place “The World’s Fastest Racers” go when only the best
will do.
What began as an innocent trip to a sushi bar and a crazy idea, turned into our Supermoto race team! Scott Russel and I were talking about it on the way to dinner one night and it sounded like fun. I called Jeremy and Wardy and we all headed off to Perris Raceway to give it a try – We loved it!
My
marketing team worked hard to get the team together in record time, and we haven't stopped smiling since! Honda gave us bikes, Fun Bike Center came on board, Giant RV gave us a rig, Weekend Warrior built us a 26ft. race trailer, and Timex and PPG stepped up to support us.
I think that Supermoto
is the next big thing, and right now my team is developing new products for
the sport.
