1967
In L.A. County, there's a large valley, surrounded by mountain ranges,
blossoming with new suburb tract houses amongst farms of fruit growers. With
the Santa Monica Mountains on one side and the Santa Susanna Mountains on
the other, this valley offered incredible terrain for off-road motorcycling.
During this time, one young resident in the valley, Jim O'Neal, would hit
the local dirt nearly everyday on a modified Triumph.
Jim soon started racing local events against his peers, often winning
against some of the best young talent in the United States. Jim's passion
for racing simply couldn't be stopped. It was then he realized the need for
better parts, accessories, and apparel for motocross. A company was born...
... O'NEAL USA established itself in 1970 and still carries the same passion
that founded the company to this very day, racing motocross!
We would like to thank those who have made it possible. The hundreds of
professional riders who have helped develop our products over the last 35
years. The thousands of dealers worldwide; who believe in our product so
much that they choose to continue to stock their shelves with O'Neal. The
