features triple E width as well as a larger circumference around the
whole foot. .The legendary Gore Tex membrane is encapsulated in a
top grain leather outer shell for a 100% waterproof wide boot, one
of only two in the USA!

help you get there. Designed to provide comfort and protection, Sidi
GORE-TEX® boots keep your feet dry, even when you encounter snow, or
rain. Each Sidi GORE-TEX® boot is totally waterproof to keep
moisture from penetrating inside, yet incredibly breathable to allow
sweat to escape. This high breathability is critical to your comfort
because, simply put, sweaty feet are uncomfortable feet. Inside
waterproof boots that are not breathable, moisture builds up and has
nowhere to go. It then remains trapped against your skin, leaving
your feet clammy, uncomfortable, and more prone to develop blisters.
This can be even more of a problem in high aerobic activities
because the more active you are, the more your feet sweat — we're
talking up to one full cup of water a day! Sidi's GORE-TEX® lined
boots is specifically designed to provide comfort and protection on
a hard ride or for longer rides when the weather is warmer. The
patented GORE-TEX® bootie is where it all starts. Nestled between
the boot's outer top grain leather and the inner liner, this bootie
keeps water out while letting your perspiration vapor escape. As
part of Sidi's waterproof guarantee, EVERY bootie and boot produced
is tested for waterproofness and breathability. And, to make sure
the whole boot breathes the way it should, all leather and other
textile materials used to construct Sidi GORE-TEX® boots are tested

Non-Bootie Designs
Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and
for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add
to the boot's thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the
inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider's performance and
comfort.

Sidi Sport was founded over 40 years ago by sports footwear icon,
Dino Signori. Dino, along with a small staff of enthusiasts, small
staff of enthusiasts, started by rethinking how trekking boots were
made,
then moved on to create the first rear entry ski boot. From there he
took the first steps in building what
is today the premier brand in bicycling-Sidi. Not being satisfied
with these more mainstream sports, in
his spare time, Dino dabbled in one of his country’s favorite sports
motorcycling! Not being one to mess around (the man to this day is a
dynamo), in 1969 Dino jumped into moto in a big way, he aligned
himself and Sidi with Italy’s motorcycle hero, Giacomo Agostini, who
helped Sidi advance road race footwear to new heights. At the same
time Dino signed up an outgoing Belgian, five time world champion
Joel Robert. Sidi created for Robert the world’s first purpose built
motocross boot. This boot was sold in the USA under the brand name
Full Bore that, at the time, was the premier aftermarket line in
this country.
In subsequent years, Dino’s son Daniele and daughter Rosella,
together with the Sidi design team, have created some of the most
groundbreaking designs in motorcycle footwear. The Royal off road
boot was the first boot to offer inner ankle protection, the TAE SRS
sole replacement system is still in use today as is the bullet proof
and we must say, perfect, cam-lock off road boot buckle system. Over
the past few years the hinged and exceptionally rigid Flex, Force
and now the exceptional Crossfire off road boot, the Vertebra sport
road boot and most recently the fantastic Vertigo series of sport
road boots have taken
the market by storm and Sidi’s competitors by surprise.
