In the late 1960's things
were indeed different. On the local motorcycle tracks in Southern
California, young promising riders were pushing the limits of their
motorcycles and their equipment. Off road motorcycling was just getting
serious and it was quickly obvious that there was a need for something
better.
Something that would hold up to the punishment of the worlds most
demanding sport. Our company's founder, Jim O'Neal, had a passion for racing
that couldn't be stopped. In 1970 O'Neal U.S.A. was born.
Year 2006 is our 36th year in business. With all the changes that have
occurred in the world, some of the little things have stayed the same. Our
company founder, Jim O'Neal, has never lost his passion for racing.
He still
competes in racing events across the globe and never likes to take second
place. Jim joins the hundreds of professional riders worldwide who still
torture test all of our products before they are ever produced and taken to
market. To us, this process of developing product has been the most
important part of our business.
