We
believe that bigger is not only better, it’s the best! That’s the Hard-Krome
story. To design and manufacture the biggest, baddest and best exhaust pipes
for your Harley-Davidson or cruiser. We wouldn’t want it any other way!
The Hard-Krome story goes back many years, beginning with the founding of DG
Performance in 1973 in Southern California. That was when motocross riders
wanted the best that would take them to the winner’s circle, whether it was
a local race or National Championship.
DG manufactured almost every kind of performance product available to make
dirt bikes go faster. From handlebars and sprockets to exhaust pipes and
cylinder heads, DG was the home of performance for thousands of satisfied
racers.
By 1975, DG had its own motocross race team that traveled around the
country. Young riders like Bob Hannah and Broc Glover who began with us went
on to become factory stars in their own right. Many of them also became
National and World champions.
DGs engineers decided to bring the same quality and performance that made us
famous in the motocross world to the world of street lights and weekend
cruises. Hard-Krome was created with only one goal: To make the best pipes
in the world!
